This summer has been busy with weddings! My two best friends of 15 years are both getting married a month apart!
For one of their bridal showers, I had the brilliant idea of making a quilt for her, but little did I realize how busy I was going to be and how much time it took up to make the quilt! Luckily I finished the final touches of the quilt the day before the shower, talk about cutting it close!! The only type of quilt I have conquered is the 9 patch quilt, so I thought I would keep it safe and do that for this quilt, but I swore to myself my next quilt will be something else!
This was the first quilt I made that I gave away, and boy was it hard to say goodbye to it! I fell in love with the fabrics and the colors, I may have to make one for myself with the left over fabrics!!
The label is a picture of our group of best friends 6 years ago!
